You may have come across the Tenth Minor Arcana card from the suit of Swords, the Ten of Swords, and felt a shiver down your spine. The card illustrates a black ominous sky with the sun rising near the horizon. 

A man is lying on his chest. He is wearing a golden tunic and a red cape. But the most piercing element of the card is the Ten Swords piercing down his back. The man is facing the sea, perhaps looking at the rising sun, while lying in the pool of his blood. This visually intriguing yet heart-clenching illustration and the meaning behind it can cause discomfort in your mind. But this card is much more than the horror.  

The man lying like a dead person in his blood, wearing a golden tunic and a red cape that covers the bottom half of his body is representative of his valor. It is the visual representation of a person who has lost everything. He is the incarnation of a failed man being pushed by the atrocities of society, that is piercing him in his back, despite the goodness of his soul. It shows the helplessness and desires of a failing or falling man nearing death. He is facing the sea hoping for a better future.
